Indoor/Outdoor Loudspeakers

Klipsch
www.klipsch.com

The Contractor All-Purpose Series is made of durable, non-corrosive materials to withstand harsh weather. The CA-5T, CA-6T and CA-8T have square Tractrix® horns, injection-molded graphite woofer cones, high-definition crossover networks and five-way binding posts. Each is constructed with stainless-steel hardware, aluminum-powder-coated mounting C-brackets and grilles, and injection-molded enclosures. All provide a built-in 70/100-volt transformer with an 8-ohm bypass switch. The CA-5T has a bandwidth of 55 Hz to 20 kHz ±3 dB with power handling of 100 watts, 400 watts peak; the CA-6T bandwidth of 58 Hz to 20 kHz ±3 dB with power handling of 85 watts, 340 watts peak; and the CA-8T bandwidth of 65 Hz to 20 kHz ±3 dB with power handling of 75 watts, 300 watts peak. Nominal impedance for each is 8 ohms. All specs are pre-production and are subject to change.

Micro Ceiling Speaker

JBL Professional
www.jblpro.com

JBL’s new Control 24C/CT Micro speakers are a cost-effective solution for in-ceiling installations. Able to fit in areas with shallow clearance, the speakers cover an angle area up to 150°. The wide angle allows installers to maximize coverage and minimize the number of speakers in a room. The Control 24C/CT Micros can easily be installed and used in challenging architectural environments; for filling in shadow areas, odd corners or sections of a room in a high-level, wide-bandwidth system; and as satellite speakers with the SMS1-SUB on-wall powered subwoofer.

Ceiling Enclosures

Tannoy
www.tannoy.com

Suited for high-level music and speech reinforcement applications, the Tannoy in-ceiling monitors — CMS50 ICT and CMS50T ICT — are designed for easy installation and cost effectiveness. Both include line-voltage switching from the front baffle. To ensure tweeter reliability, the ICT™, or inductive coupling technology, uses a wireless electromagnetic tweeter that does not require a crossover and cannot be burned out by heavy operation. The ICT dome is at the heart of this 5-inch ceiling transducer while a molded plastic low-frequency cone and nitryl rubber surround add further durability. The ICT driver is housed in a steel enclosure tuned for maximum bass response and tonal balance.
