Epaper display for public signage runs on wireless power

The Digital View E Ink Spectra 6 features a wireless power module by Wi-Charge

Display company Digital View has developed a unique take on an ePaper monitor that doesn’t rely on a battery. Instead of being battery-powered, the E Ink Spectra 6 color ePaper display utilizes a wireless overhead power module by Wi-Charge. This means the signage operates on ultra-low power without the possibility of a blank screen.

The display is positioned for retail signage or information kiosks at museums, hotels, or airports. Digital View says that its E Ink Spectra 6 “is highly visible in normal ambient light and very bright conditions.”
