Samsung releases limited edition The Frame for Disney’s 100th anniversary

To celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary, Samsung has launched a limited edition version of The Frame. Samsung says the model features platinum silver metal bezels (Disney100’s signature color), a Disney startup logo, and even a Mickey Mouse-styled remote.

To truly Disney-fy the model, this special edition TV ships loaded with 100 pieces of art from Disney, from the classics of Walt Disney Animation Studios, all the way to more recent acquisitions like Marvel and Lucasfilm.

The Frame Disney100 Edition features The Frame’s matte AG coating to make viewing art on the device feel more authentic.

“We are thrilled to offer this one-of-a-kind edition of The Frame to celebrate Disney’s landmark 100th anniversary,” said Cheolgi Kim, EVP of Visual Display Business, Samsung Electronics. “These collaborations serve as an exciting way to spotlight The Frame’s distinct features, which revolutionized how we use our screens and consume content. We hope this unique edition of The Frame allows more people to experience the wonderful viewing experience the TV has to offer.”

The Frame Disney100 Edition is available now in limited quantities through samsung.com and Best Buy. There are 55, 65 and 75 inch models for $1700, $2200 and $3200, respectively.
