WATCH: Sonos Ace teardown

Headphones feature premium build quality and ease of access to most components, but with an annoying headband

With a price point of $450, the highly anticipated Sonos Ace over-ear aim to bring audiophile-grade sound in a portable package. As with any flagship device, iFixit is there to conduct a thorough teardown to inspect the build quality and repairability of Sonos’ entry into the headphone market.

Sonos launches Roam 2 portable Bluetooth speaker

During the teardown, the folks at iFixit discover that most of the consumable points of the headphones, such as the ear cushions and battery, feature a premium build quality and are easily accessible.
