Last year, Boston Dynamics unveiled its all-new, fully-electric Atlas robot. The company has now released a video showing off its upgraded Atlas robot’s new moves. Thanks to a research partnership between Boston Dynamics and the Robotics and AI Institute, Atlas has gained even more humanlike movement through human motion capture and animation. In the video, Atlas bend, stands, crawls, and finally breakdances in a demonstration that momentarily made me think it was a human in a suit.
