WATCH: Neura’s humanoid robot is happy to take care of your household chores

Neura has partnered up with NVIDIA to accelerate the development of humanoid robotics

German robotics company Neura has released a new video showcasing its 4NE-1 “general purpose humanoid” completing a number of household chores that most people wish they could delegate to a robot. The video was released to publicize Neura’s new partnership with NVIDIA’s Humanoid Robot Developer Program, which, in part, is designed to “help developers train physical machines and improve how they handle complex tasks.”

“By combining Neura’s innovative cognitive robotics solutions with NVIDIA’s advanced computing power and simulation platforms, we will push the boundaries of humanoid robotics even faster.,” says Neura’s Founder, David Reger.

The 4NE-1 robot stands 5’9″ tall, feature voice recognition, and supports reinforcement learning. It can operate on its own, but whether or not you want it to unload your dishes is up to you.
