In September, Blaze Audio announced Dante AoIP compatibility across its PowerZone Connect amplifier series—supporting networked audio systems that require up to 4×4 channels at a sample rate of 44.1 and 48kHz. The PowerZone Connect 1U series is a line of DSP-enabled Class-D amplifiers in an ultra-compact form factor. The PowerZone Connect 2U series is a line of full-matrix DSP-enabled Class-D amplifiers with a total system power ranging from 1000W to 3000W. Both series power both conventional low-impedance (2Ω to 16Ω) loudspeakers and constant voltage (70V/100V) transformer-coupled loudspeakers and feature proportional distribution in both Lo-Z and Hi-Z modes. The PowerZone Control web app is built into all amplifiers for easy system setup, and delivering many DSP configuration options and tuning features, including multi-zone setup, input mixing, priority and ducking, restriction, input and output EQ, S/PDIF output routing, high-pass filter, speaker presets, delay, Wall-S1 controller configuration, Sine generator, and more.
