Atlona(R) Debuts Retail-Ready Audio/Video Connectivity Products Family
SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Jan. 6, 2012 — Atlona(R), a leading digital connectivity solutions provider, today announced the Atlona Home Collection, an all-new family of audio/video connectivity products and accessories designed to provide consumers with the freedom and flexibility they need to connect and enjoy their electronics. With digital content in homes taking many forms and coming from a variety of devices, the new Atlona Home Collection offers the solutions retailers need to help consumers connect, share, and experience their media across multiple rooms, sources, and formats.

Atlona LinkCast Wireless HD Audio/Video System
Atlona’s LinkCast Wireless HD Audio/Video System allows home theater enthusiasts, gamers, laptop users, and more to connect multiple HDMI-based devices wirelessly to an HDTV or projector. The LinkCast Wireless HD System includes an A/V base station (AT-LINKCASTAV) and one LinkCast System Expander (AT-LINKCAST-HTX). The LinkCast A/V base station connects to the HDTV or projector’s HDMI input, and the LinkCast System Expander plugs into virtually any A/V device with an HDMI output and standard USB connection. Up to five devices can be wirelessly connected to one LinkCast Wireless HD System with the purchase of additional Atlona LinkCast System Expanders, each sold separately.
The LinkCast system supports uncompressed video resolutions up to 1080p HD and 1280×1024 with a latency of less than one millisecond for truly reliable wireless HD video performance. In addition, LinkCast supports lossy digital audio formats such as Dolby(R) Digital and DTS Digital Audio, as well as the WHDI 1.0 wireless home digital interface standard and HDCP 1.2 protocols. The LinkCast system is backed by a full three-year AtlonaAdvantage warranty and will have an MSRP of $299.99.
Atlona LinkCast Wireless HD System Expander
Atlona’s LinkCast Wireless HD System Expanders are sold separately, and they allow consumers to connect additional HDMI sources wirelessly to their LinkCast Wireless HD System for a total of five connected devices. LinkCast System Expanders plug into virtually any A/V device with an HDMI port and are conveniently powered via standard USB connection, eliminating the need for an additional power supply. LinkCast Wireless HD System Expanders will have an MSRP of $119.99 each.
Atlona LinkConnect HDMI Cable Series
The Atlona LinkConnect HDMI cable series includes a complete suite of cables, adapters, and other connectivity solutions designed for today’s advanced consumer electronics applications and installation needs. Features include technologies capable of delivering ultra-high-speed 17+ Gbps bandwidth and up to 4k x 2k HD video resolution support. Consumers can choose from Atlona LinkConnect, LinkConnect Select, and LinkConnect Ultra HDMI cables based on their performance and price point preferences. The LinkConnect HDMI Cable series will have an MSRP range from $19.99 to $99.95.
Atlona LinkConvert Audio/Video Switchers, Extenders, Scalers, and Converters
The new Atlona LinkConvert family is a complete line of products specially designed to offer connectivity solutions that solve the unique challenges consumers face in connecting, installing, and enjoying their different A/V devices.
Featured LinkConvert products at 2012 International CES include Atlona’s high-performance 3×1 HDMI auto switcher (AT-HAD-V31), Atlona’s VGA-to-HDMI scaler/converter (AT-HDView), and other new problem-solving Atlona LinkConvert solutions. The full line of LinkConvert products has an MSRP price range from $19.99 to $349.99.
