Aurora Multimedia Introduces DIDO LT™ High-Resolution Video Wall Processor/Scaler

MORGANVILLE, N.J. ”• June 9, 2009 ”•

Aurora Multimedia today launched the DIDO LTâ„¢, a cost-effective new video wall processor and scaler that combines high-resolution processing capabilities with great ease of use and an extremely small form factor.

With the DIDO LT, integrators can design video walls utilizing up to 64 monitors that display exceptional picture quality. The unit can be reformatted at the touch of a button. On-screen display menus make the processor a breeze to set up, and input and output resolutions are completely customizable to match the displays’ optimal resolutions. User presets allow for simple manipulation of the video wall.

“The DIDO LT offers our customers a cost-effective alternative for creating high-quality video walls,” said Paul Harris, Aurora Multimedia’s CEO. “With the exception of image rotation and audio control, the DIDO LT offers all the same processing capabilities as our DIDO Jr., which integrators have come to rely on for outstanding picture quality and simple set up — all at a fraction of the cost.”

The image enhancing capabilities of the DIDO LT include motion adaptive de-interlacing, low-angle directional interpolation, 3:2 and 2:2 inverse pull-down, color correction, flesh tone adjustments, and image zoom and shrink. An internal event scheduler with real-time clock allows special effects to be scheduled locally and between DIDO units when connected via the RS-485 bus. For flexible installation options, the DIDO LT’s small 8.4-inch by 5.7-inch by 1.0-inch dimensions allow it to be mounted discretely behind the display.

The DIDO LT is shipping now at an MSRP of $1,799.
