BenQ’s New LU710, LH710, LU930, and LH930 BlueCore Laser Projectors Voted a Top Technology Innovation for 2020
COSTA MESA, Calif. — Dec. 16, 2020 — BenQ, an internationally renowned provider of visual display and collaboration solutions, is a winner of Sound & Video Contractor’s 10th annual Innovative Product Awards for its new LU710, LH710, LU930, and LH930 BlueCore laser projectors. Chosen by readers, the affordable yet state-of-art 4,000- and 5,000-lumen laser projectors allow organizations to accelerate their upgrade path to laser and drive superior meetings with proven color accuracy while cutting the cost of lamps and maintenance with an IP5X-sealed and certified filter-free chassis that protects against dust.
“Commercial lasers deliver the very best image quality possible; however, they have been cost-prohibitive for many businesses,” said Bob Wudeck, senior director of business development at BenQ America Corp. “After listening to our customers, we were determined to bring to market this family of class-leading laser projectors. This award validates all the effort our engineers poured into these projectors and how well they have been received by the AV industry.”
BenQ’s LU710, LH710, LU930, and LH930 projectors feature the company’s precision-aligned high-output laser source, which is guaranteed for 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation, saving costs for lamp replacement and maintenance. Based on the average brightness cutoff of typical long-life lamps, BlueCore’s value exceeds that of 10 lamp replacements over the life of the projector. The projector’s DLP chip is hermetically sealed to resist heat for over 100,000 hours without degradation. In addition, the engine has earned an international dustproof protection rating of IP5X, ensuring dust doesn’t damage the projector.
The new BlueCore laser projectors feature Rec. 709 color coverage with enhanced color saturation and laser-enabled high contrast for strikingly clear images for true deep blacks, vividly rich colors, and fine subtle details. With the LU710 (WUXGA) and LH710 (1080p) offering 4,000 ANSI lumen brightness and the LU930 (WUXGA) and LH930 (1080p) delivering 5,000 ANSI lumens of brightness, these projectors are capable of producing clear images in both dark and well-lit spaces. They also boast BenQ’s new LumiExpert™ technology, which automatically detects the ambient light conditions and adjusts the projector’s brightness to maximize clarity and comfort; Infographic Mode that’s designed to enhance the brightness and provide better color gradation for eye-friendly graphics and text; and Vivid Mode for emphasizing colorful imagery when displaying video or photos.
The projectors are compatible with BenQ’s InstaShow software-free wireless presentation system for completely secure, plug-and-play BYOD screen sharing from any device — PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and more — for up to 32 participants. Enabling remote management of every projector, BenQ’s exclusive centralized control software simplifies IT management and ensures smooth operation. They’re also compatible with an assortment of control systems, including AMX, Creston, Extron, and PJ Link.
