Bond Bridge ($99) quickly learns the commands of motorized window shade’s (awnings, ceiling fans, fireplaces too) RF-remote control. One Bond Bridge can control up to 30 appliances in a 2,500 sq ft setting. No installation or wiring is required. Plus, the Bond Home App integrates with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and SmartThings Apps.
The Bond Bridge Pro ($379) adds Ethernet and PoE provisions for easy integration with Control4, Crestron, Elan, RTI, Homebridge and Hubitat. A single Bond Bridge Pro can control up to 50 appliances in a 3,500 sq ft setting, bringing simplified, unified control to larger residential and commercial projects. Multiple Bond Bridges can be used on the jobsite.
Bond Bridge can be programmed to activate ceiling fans, shades, awnings and fireplaces at specific times. This creates delightful ‘mood scenes,’ and when used to complement or replace HVAC, can help reduce energy costs.
Bond Bridge will tap the Summits to unveil SideKick ($79), a 5-channel, battery-powered wireless remote control that communicates directly with Somfy and Rollease shades. If integrated with Bond Bridge Pro, SideKick communicates operational status of the shades (raise, lower) back to Bond Bridge Pro – an important fail-safe feature. SideKick mounts flush on wall or to an electrical with no installation or wires required. SideKick has a battery life of 10-years.
