New PA Announcements and Low-Latency Mode Join AudioMate to Deliver Smarter Control, Easier Installations and Greater Versatility for Homes and Businesses—Free Firmware Update 6.2.0 Available Now
Juke Audio, maker of modern, easy-to-use multi-room audio systems built around its “Sound Made Simple” philosophy, announces the release of Firmware Update 6.2.0, introducing two powerful new features: PA System Announcements and Low-Latency Mode. Available as a free update, these enhancements expand the capabilities of Juke’s multi-zone audio systems, simplifying communication throughout homes and businesses while delivering more responsive audio for television, gaming and live entertainment.
The update follows Juke Audio’s recent introduction of AudioMate, an optional wireless audio solution interface that expands connectivity and system compatibility while reducing the need for traditional wiring.
| “Our goal is to make multi-room audio simpler, smarter and more versatile,” said Colton Forth, President of Juke Audio. “From effortless paging and low-latency performance to AudioMate’s wireless connectivity, these innovations give integrators more installation options and customers new ways to connect, communicate and enjoy sound—all while delivering on our ‘Sound Made Simple’ philosophy.” |
PA System Announcements: Page Any Room from Your Phone
Juke’s new PA System Announcements feature transforms any smartphone into a wireless microphone, allowing users to broadcast live messages to individual rooms, selected zones or an entire property through existing connected speakers.
From calling the family to dinner and addressing guests during gatherings to paging employees or announcing store closing times, communication is effortless. Users can also save frequently used announcements and broadcast them instantly with a single tap.
Compatible with all Juke amplifier models, the feature requires no additional microphones, intercom equipment or dedicated paging hardware. Low-latency support further enhances responsiveness for speeches, presentations and live announcements.
Low-Latency Mode: Sound That Keeps Pace with the Action
Juke’s new Low-Latency Mode minimizes audio delay for television, gaming, live microphones and musical instruments, helping keep sound aligned with on-screen action and live performances.
Users can select between two playback modes:
- Synchronized Mode: Keeps music playing in sync across multiple rooms and speaker zones.
- Low-Latency Mode: Minimizes audio delay for TV, gaming and live audio applications.
Available for USB, RCA, optical and Bluetooth inputs, the feature also helps align audio output with connected third-party equipment, including surround sound receivers and powered speakers.
AudioMate Expands Wireless Connectivity and Installation Flexibility
Complementing the new firmware capabilities, AudioMate extends Juke Audio’s wireless ecosystem by connecting audio sources and compatible third-party equipment without the need for extensive wiring.
AudioMate allows integrators to wirelessly connect audio sources, including televisions and turntables, to Juke amplifiers without running additional cables back to a centralized AV rack.
For example, an outdoor television connected to AudioMate via HDMI can wirelessly transmit audio to a Juke amplifier, distributing sound through landscape speakers with minimal latency.
AudioMate also enables compatible powered speakers and subwoofers from other manufacturers to operate as additional synchronized listening zones through its RCA output.
The result is greater installation freedom for integrators and more versatile, expandable audio systems for customers—without extensive rewiring or dependence on a single manufacturer’s ecosystem.
More Innovation. Greater Flexibility. Sound Made Simple.
Together, PA System Announcements, Low-Latency Mode and AudioMate demonstrate Juke Audio’s continued commitment to making multi-room audio smarter, more connected and easier to integrate across residential and commercial environments.
Firmware Update 6.2.0 is available now at no additional cost for Juke systems. Users can access the new features by updating their Juke system and app to the latest versions.
