Neu-Anspach – 2 December 2025 – With the release of the new QUESTRA® update to version 1.3.28, LD Systems is expanding the capabilities of its design and management platform for use in fixed installations. The focus is on the newly integrated connection to the TuneButler music and signage software, which, when combined with the LD Systems MSMP (Message Scheduler-Streamer Music Player), provides a unified hardware and software solution for planning, controlling and managing music in commercial applications – from restaurants and hotels to retail, corporate environments and public areas.
TuneButler is a Denmark based company specialized in developing software solutions for combining music for business and digital signage. The combined platform addresses customers who wish to centrally manage, control and schedule music and advertisement media content – whether via preconfigured playlists, custom audio content or by connecting to external streaming services such as Spotify. The user-friendly TuneButler dashboard allows users to distribute content to specific zones or locations, manage access rights, schedule content and assign individual playlists. In this regard, TuneButler places particular emphasis on ease of use, high reliability and seamless integration into existing AV systems, with ability to directly integrate music for business with vendors like Sonos.
Within the latest QUESTRA® version 1.3.28, TuneButler is available as a plug-in for the LD Systems MSMP Player from the TICA® series. Users can connect directly to their TuneButler account via the QUESTRA® interface, link the MSMP and then access the TuneButler music library to browse and favourite playlists and moods and share them with specific users or projects. Thanks to QUESTRA®’s intuitive drag-and-drop interface, the selected TuneButler playlists can then be integrated directly into the custom control surfaces of LD Systems QTP touch panels and played from there.
With the new QUESTRA® update and TuneButler integration for MSMP, AV integrators, specialist planners and installation service providers benefit from an even closer connection between hardware and software, offering shops, restaurants, hotels and other clients in the commercial sector a unified platform for audio playback and control – including location and user management, remote access and role-based management.
Kasper Hollænder, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of TuneButler:

Gabriel Alonso Calvillo, Senior Product Manager, Integrated Systems:
