October 20, 2026 — Reading, PA: Miri Technologies Inc. is heading to NAB Show New York this week with significant advances in its line-up of resilient internet solutions that help customers stay connected anywhere even if one service provider fails. Demonstrations in booth 147 at New York City’s Javits Center will include the award-winning X510 bonding router running the new release of the miriOS operating system, and a sneak preview of upcoming innovations.
miriOS for the X510 and Third-party Routers
Slated for public release next week, the new miriOS operating system brings a wide range of interface and performance enhancements to the X510 while offering power users even deeper control. miriOS combines a customized OpenWrt foundation with Speedify bonding technology from partner Connectify, Inc. and an elegant dashboard for configuration and monitoring, providing the expandability and flexibility of OpenWrt without the usual complexity.
The streamlined miriOS dashboard provides an intuitive overview of the user’s connectivity architecture and the X510 router’s performance while putting key configuration settings at their fingertips for easy day-to-day operation. New remote device management features enable users to configure, monitor and control multiple routers and other Miri devices from a centralized interface. Meanwhile, advanced users can delve deeper into OpenWrt settings to fine-tune their connections or extend the X510’s capabilities with modules from the OpenWrt ecosystem.
As the transition from the original X510 operating system to miriOS is more extensive than a usual X510 firmware update, existing X510 customers are encouraged to contact the Miri support team for details of upgrade options.
In addition to running on the X510, miriOS is also available for GL.iNet Beryl AX, Puli AX and Spitz AX travel and portable routers. The combination of miriOS with GL.iNet routers provides a low-cost entry point for on-the-go internet users who need reliable connectivity but don’t require the robust hardware capabilities or large number of contributing links of the purpose-built Miri X510.
Data Management and Accessories
Additional live demos will include the Miri Data Platform, which provides users with self-service management, monitoring and control of Miri’s NetConnect+ multi-carrier data plans and SIM cards. The intuitive portal lets users manage the full lifecycle of NetConnect+ SIM cards and plans themselves, from provisioning new SIMs and assigning preferred carriers to usage analytics and billing.
Also on display will be Miri’s new fan-cooled backpack, which makes the X510 more portable than ever. The layout of the backpack allows full antenna deployment on the X510 while secured and enclosed, making it perfect for use during transport or on location. Its flexible fastening system also enables it to be used with other devices including the Miri V410 encoder/decoder, which won an NAB Show Product of the Year award in April and redefines ease of use and versatility for IP media transport and streaming.
A Sneak Peek at What’s Next
Last but certainly not least, Miri will also offer NAB New York attendees a technology preview of its next resilient internet connectivity innovation — the Miri X610 bonding router. Slated for release in early 2027, the X610 builds on the benefits of the X510 with even more of the connectivity and performance that people love about it: more 5G modems; the ability to bond many more simultaneous Starlink units; more wired networking speed including a 10Gbps Ethernet or SFP+ WAN interface and four 2.5Gbps WAN/LAN ports; and more power options.
The X610’s hardware advances are complemented by new features and a new bonding engine with even higher performance. The X610 will be powered by the next generation of Speedify bonding technology. For live video applications, new Broadcast Hub stream conversion functionality will transform incoming SRT sources into multiple outputs for streaming to popular services, CDNs or NDI® production workflows. And of course, the new router will run on the miriOS operating system.
“2026 has already been an exciting year for us, from the launch of our V410 encoder/decoder and self-serve Miri Data Platform to the imminent release of miriOS for our flagship X510 router,” said Ryan Brenneman, Chief Operating Officer of Miri Technologies. “We’re looking forward to showing NAB New York attendees all of our latest solutions and an advance look at what we’re working on for 2027.”
