The NSCA Education Committee announced that it is looking for instructors and accepting course proposals from subject-matter experts for educational opportunities at InfoComm 2009 in Orlando, Fla.

According to the organization, teaching NSCA classes provides an opportunity for volunteer instructors to enhance their professional credentials and be recognized as experts in their field. Also, manufacturer instructors may promote their companies as unique and committed training organizations.

“Becoming an NSCA instructor is a great way for industry professionals to share their real-world experiences and knowledge with others,” said Norah Hammond, NSCA senior director of professional development, in a statement. “Volunteers are needed to teach NSCA University courses in any of our colleges: System Design, Project Management, Business, Technical Knowledge, Allied Professionals, or Systems Sales.”

Manufacturers, contractors, and consultants are encouraged to submit their proposals electronically to Norah Hammond at [email protected]. Proposal submissions are due by Sept. 17, 2008. For more information, call 800-446-6722.
