LCD or plasma? Pro or consumer? What really drives an end-user’s choice of display technology? As TFC Info’s latest end-user survey shows, it depends on whether the display is for a business or entertainment setting. The Odessa, Fla.–based research firm recently asked business and consumer users why they chose the display technology they chose. And while plasma purchasers in both camps cited picture quality as their most important reason, LCD buyers were equally concerned with price.
Moving forward, TFC Info wanted to know what types of added features might appeal to users. Wireless, yes; extended warranties, not so much. Still, when a business buys a display from you, rest assured they’ll want to know it’s reliable.
