Apple has made significant cuts to several teams, including the department responsible for Apple Vision Pro development, Bloomberg reported. Sources tell the publication that Apple has let go over 200 team members, with around half of these positions belonging to the Vision Pro team.

Bloomberg’s sources say that these cuts, which include employees that work on Siri and members of the Intelligent Systems Experience teams, are intended to open up resources that will go towards upcoming devices and AI development.
In a statement to Bloomberg, Apple confirmed the downsizing reports, saying, “While we will create new roles as part of this change, it will also impact a limited number of existing roles. We are grateful to these team members for their contributions, and we are committed to supporting them throughout their transition, including opportunities to apply for other roles at Apple.”
