A massive amount of engineering has gone into EPCOT’s The American Adventure, with show sets that are connected together on a giant moving mechanism. This mechanism has the ability to go back and forth and lift the scenes up and down behind a massive rear projected screen in order to engage guests with the history of the United States.
In a new video by Walt Disney Imagineering, imagineers take viewers onstage and backstage to see how the carriage with show scenes moves forward, backwards, up, and down, and hear how the show has been upgraded over the years to be more technologically advanced with Disney’s Audio-Animatronics.
