At NAB, Absen made the North America launch of the new Aries Series 1.5mm. This is the company’s first NNP display that has been specifically designed to meet demand for sub-2mm fine pitch LED in the rental and staging market. Supporting HDR10, the AX 1.5mm allows for a much broader range of colors, while being road-rugged thanks to its corner edge protection. The series utilizes Common Cathode Technology for improved brightness and lower heat dissipation. In addition, the AX 1.5mm is also ideal for fixed installations due to its 27.5” cabinet size, achieving a 16:9-aspect-ratio. This makes it easy to replace existing LCD video walls as well as supporting full front service to meet the needs of AV system integrators for fixed installs. At the NAB show, Absen teamed with Green Hippo and Notch to demonstrate real-time generative content, which attendees could engage with as they walked by. Also on the booth was a realtime Nintendo eSports gaming environment utilizing Absen’s Polaris Series, with an AnalogWay Pictureall, and a Nextage 16 switcher.
