Live Events (New Castle, PA), which offers end-to-end production capabilities and production equipment rental with locations in Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Orlando, has expanded its Ayrton lighting inventory with an extensive number of Rivale fixtures. ACT Entertainment is the exclusive distributor of Ayrton lighting in North America.
“We’re excited to have Rivale added to our inventory. Our existing inventory of Ayrton fixtures has performed well and reliably, and the Rivales are a natural addition for us. They will expand our capabilities for clients, and that’s the most important thing,” says Live Events President Mark DeVincentis.
Ben Coker, Vice President of Technology and Assets, notes that the company has “invested heavily in Ayrton Diablo, Eurus, Domino and Huracan fixtures; they have become part of our core inventory of workhorse lighting fixtures. The IP65 rating, light weight and compact size makes Rivale a natural fit. We can utilize the fixtures on small corporate events to large scale tours and festivals – they are a versatile fixture.”
He says the Rivales “have a few unique features not usually seen on fixtures of this type, including infinite pan and tilt. They are readily available in the marketplace if we need more for a customer, and client acceptability will make them easy to rent. We have seen a big increase in clients specifying Ayrton fixtures for their shows.”
Coker has long enjoyed a close relationship with ACT Entertainment for lighting fixtures and lighting consoles. “Knowing you have a partner for fixture support if you need assistance from their technical team is a good feeling to have,” he says. The products we purchase must be competitive in the market from a quality and price standpoint, but the after-sale support offered by ACT is a large factor for us when making purchase decisions.”
Live Events also noted that although the Rivales only just arrived, they were booked for corporate and concert gigs before they even landed.
