Cohesion Platform Simplifies Videoconferencing Scheduling and Management by Adding One-Click Outlook(R) Integration for Pexip(R) Infinity

Available as an optional extension to Pexip Infinity, the Cohesion Platform further simplifies the market’s most comprehensive face-to-face communications solution by bringing users incredibly easy meeting scheduling capabilities within Outlook at a minimal cost.

Communicating with Pexip Infinity through an extensive API, the solution’s Active Directory native plug-in for Outlook 2010 and 2013 allows organizations to provide employees with a branded button within the Outlook ribbon. By simply clicking “schedule meeting,” preconfigured meeting information is embedded within the meeting invite — eliminating the need to copy and paste both meeting details and instructions. All meeting invitation information is also fully customizable to meet organizational standards and deployment models, including local audio dial-in information, PIN codes if required, virtual and physical meeting rooms, and more.

As an added feature, the solution allows users to include direct soft client links for WebRTC, Microsoft Lync(R), and other vendor platforms, while administrators retain the ability to determine the information included in meeting invites at the systemwide level through an intuitive Web-based interface. Administrators can also populate employee-specific invite information if different meeting specifics are required. After meetings are scheduled and invites are sent, the Covene Cohesion Platform tracks the start and end times of meetings while dynamically creating virtual meeting rooms with correct configurations without any administrative interventions.
Offering both time-saving and convenience-based features, the Covene Cohesion Platform uniquely enables a delegate to schedule or reschedule meetings on behalf of principal organizers. To further optimize scheduling, a Web Scheduler browser-based tool lets users quickly book a Pexip meeting or conference call without the need to open Microsoft Outlook. The Covene Cohesion Platform also features a Conference Control Module, allowing users to actively monitor participants that join or leave meetings in addition to providing secure information-sharing capabilities. Application settings include a wide range of healthcare environments. With Cohesion, organizations can enable dynamic controls for meeting security to help address compliancy requirements such as those of HIPAA.
